  1. Good one Kate, I use my diagram below to try explain this difference in how one can perceive change (growth mindset) verses commitment (fixed mindset)

    Basically I think it is how the words we use can form this type of polar thinking as mentioned in the article.

    Are you an “agreement” type person that lives by hope or a “promise” type person that needs commitment? Anyone that uses the word commitment beware.

  2. Motivation is always a fascinating thing. Whilst most of us always strives to achieve, I also find it amazing to think about how each person’s approach changes depending on their personaility type. One of my favourite concepts to review is ‘Herrmann’s whole brain model’ an interesting idea on how to measure and describe our thinking preferences.
