I find that as I focus more time on strengthening relationships with people, I say goodbye to some connections along the way as time and attention are consumables. So, would you rather touch more people less (breadth) or touch less people more (depth)? I’m currently trying to find the balance.
Abstract journalism
A while ago I posted this twitpic of a rough diagram I crudely drew in a free online paint program. I didn’t get any comment back at the time, but as people do with charts, feel I now need to labour the point. What a good journalist can do is take all ‘matter‘ within their […]
Time-lapsing travel
Time recently released its annual ‘Top 10 of Everything‘ and one of my favourite categories included the run down in the ‘Viral Video‘ list. Sure, you have the likes of Susan Boyle, which unless you’ve been under a gigantic anti-Les Misérables rock you would have seen countless times over. But there were some hidden gems […]
The non-technical new age of technical management
I was passed on a great quote recently by a member of my team (HT – James). The quote is from Archibald Putt in 1976 and while it’s famous within the technology set, I had not heard it before. “Technology is dominated by two types of people: those who understand what they do not manage. […]

If you know which bio belongs to who, list your answer in the comment area below. “Live Your Best Life” “British Actor, Writer, Lord of Dance, Prince of Swimwear & Blogger” “I’m under the loft. I make videos and find some comfort […]

You can also take the following as a recommendation list… well, apart from ‘Sally’s Spa’ – addictive as hell, but I’m not quite sure it’ll be up your alley. Similarly, if you see something […]
Intention is everything…
… But the way that intention is communicated and the behaviour that follows is more important. So, we all need to be reminded of something once in a while and today I bring before you… good old intention. When is the last time you thought about your intentions behind your goals? And, your action plan […]
Can I harm my personal brand by being too accessible?
My amigos… I would like your thoughts on this. I have turned into the 7-Eleven of personal brands. I’m practically open (online) all hours of the day, anyone can walk in and engage with me and then walk away with something to consume. This could be a good thing but it is disposable so what’s […]
Existence
This is it. This is my foray. My re-entry into the blogosphere. I decided a while ago – September in fact – that I would leave the Blogspot blog behind and get my arse into gear by producing something to represent the multiple facets of my life. I’m still a long way off getting it […]
